Natural Stone Designs & Carrollton Police Department Team Up to Support Local Business
At Natural Stone Designs, we always feel honored to support a local small business. We know the hard work that goes into starting and growing a company, so it always feels great to lift them up and promote them, especially those that benefit the community. This time, we participated in the “Coffee with a Cop” event at Parks Coffee Roastery & Café in Carrollton, Texas. We are also sponsors of the Carrollton Police Department, who were the obvious reason why this event was held.
We give back to our community by sponsoring or participating in community service events as a team with the City of Carrollton.

Carrollton Police Officer Leguizamo, the lady with the cowboy hat (center), featured in the group photograph in the header, told us she is part of the Neighborhood Policing Unit dedicated to community engagement. She speaks with residents about the Carrollton Police Department and answers questions and concerns. She offers helpful information that brings the residents and law enforcement together. Doing this helps give Carrollton a tighter-knit feel, like living in a small town where everyone knows each other.
For this very reason, Officer Leguizamo is a bicycle-based officer in tandem with her other duties. She enjoys her job, and it shows. Thank you CPD for all you do for our Carrollton communities!!
Parks Coffee Roastery & Café
The Coffee with a Cop event gave us a wonderful opportunity to learn about the facility and equipment Parks Coffee Roastery & Café uses to create the perfect coffee in every cup they serve. This family-owned business grew from humble beginnings in their garage in Carrollton, Texas. Their 30-year history is the epitome of the American Dream and one you can read about on their website. We love that they also give back to the community. But, let’s not forgot about the coffee! The coffee is roasted fresh daily and it is delicious! If you’re in the area, please pay them a visit. You will not be disappointed.
